When working on some aspects of development like placing objects in the scene with randomly assigned transforms, or applying components to many different objects, these tasks could become very repetitive.
For example, there are 179 trees in our scene. To add the trees, they need to be dragged from the 'models' folder, into the map. Then, the normal process would be to manually adjust the rotation and scale so that it is harder to tell the difference between two of the same types of trees. However, this would be a very long and tedious task.
The way this challenge was overcome was by creating an editor script that does all of these adjustments in one click.
As development repetitive tasks arose, I created new functions in the editor script to handle these tasks. The functions are triggered using a custom editor button, and this way, the game does not have to be running to call them.
